Dr. Shailes Kunnanattil

Dr. Shailes Kunnanattil is from Kozhikode, Kerala. He completed MBBS from Calicut Medical College in 1992. In 1997 he got MS General Surgery degree from Calicut Medical College. After completing MCh. Cardiothoracic Surgery from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, he joined Calicut Medical College as lecturer in Thoracic Surgery. He underwent advanced training in Cardiac Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

He has worked with Dr. KM Cherian in Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. He has also completed Executive post graduate program in Management from IIM Kozhikode in 2014. Dr. Shailes is currently working as Associate Professor in Cardiac Surgery at CMC Ludhiana, Punjab. He has specialised in Coronary surgery and is interested in high risk CABG surgery.
